WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- The Michigan Petroleum Association and the Michigan Association of Convenience Stores have expressed strong opposition to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's "low nicotine rule." The public comment letter, authored by these organizations, raises concerns over the potential economic and social impact of the regulation on Michigan's tobacco supply chain and public health.
