CommonSpirit Health Raises Concerns Over Proposed Cuts to Home Health Medicare Reimbursements

WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- CommonSpirit Health at Home has submitted a public comment letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regarding the proposed rule for the fiscal year 2026, which includes a controversial 9% reduction in Medicare reimbursements for home health services. The organization, which is the largest Catholic not-for-profit home health provider in the nation, has been serving its community for over 35 years and currently assists around 500 patients daily.
