WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- The Convenience Distribution Association, Reston, Virginia, has submitted a public comment letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expressing strong opposition to a proposed regulatory rule that would limit the nicotine content in cigarettes and certain other tobacco products to a maximum of 0.70 milligrams per gram.
