WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The Visiting Nurse Association of the Wabash Valley has submitted a public comment letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding the proposed 6.4% reduction in overall home health payment rates for the year 2026. The organization, which provides care to 250 Medicare beneficiaries in Indiana, expressed deep concern that this funding cut would exacerbate the financial challenges facing home health providers and limit access to critical in-home care.
