WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 -- The Office of National Drug Control Policy has released a federal grant opportunity aimed at enhancing drug consumption surveillance through biological specimens collected in emergency departments. The research project titled Drug Supply in Biological Specimens from Emergency Departments has an award ceiling of $400,000, with one award expected to support eligible hospitals across the country.
