WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, has introduced the Camden National Battlefield Park Study Act, which aims to require the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a special resource study assessing the suitability and feasibility of designating the Camden Battlefield area in South Carolina as a unit of the National Park System. This initiative seeks to honor the historical significance of the site where the pivotal Battle of Camden was fought during the Revolutionary War.
