WASHINGTON, Aug. 9 -- Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-TN, has introduced the Creative Relief and Expensing for Audio and Television Enterprises Act, known as the CREATE Act, aimed at expanding tax incentives for qualified productions in the entertainment industry. This legislation seeks to amend the Internal Revenue Code to increase the maximum expensing limits for film and television projects, thereby fostering growth and innovation in the sector.
