WASHINGTON, July 17 -- The U.S. Department of State, through its Bureau of Counterterrorism, has announced a grant opportunity aimed at combating the spread of ISIS ideologies among returnee populations from Northeast Syria. With an award range of $1,000 to $986,500, the initiative seeks to promote community resilience and counter extremist narratives in areas impacted by the conflict.
