WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, has introduced the Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Act to designate July 11 as a National Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Srebrenica Genocide. This bill seeks to honor the memory of over 8,000 Bosniak men and boys who were systematically killed during the Bosnian War in July 1995.
