WASHINGTON, July 17 -- The U.S. Department of Education, through its Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE), has announced a grant opportunity aimed at enhancing the transition of students with intellectual disabilities into higher education. The program, known as Transition Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities into Higher Education (TPSID), falls under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 84.407A and will allocate a total of $5.4 million.
