WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Sen. Jim Banks, R-IN, has introduced the REFOCUS DODEA Act, which aims to prohibit the use of smartphones at Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) schools during the school day. This legislation seeks to enhance the educational environment for children of U.S. servicemembers by minimizing distractions and promoting a more focused learning atmosphere.
