WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-AK, has introduced the Southcentral Foundation Land Transfer Act, a bill aimed at facilitating the transfer of approximately 3.372 acres of federal land in Anchorage, Alaska, to the Southcentral Foundation (SCF) for use in health and social services programs.
The proposed legislation seeks to expedite the conveyance process, requiring the Secretary of Health and Human Services to transfer full rights and ownership of the property to SCF . . .
