WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Sen. Pete Ricketts, R-NE, has introduced the Protecting Endowments from Our Adversaries Act, aimed at imposing an excise tax on specific investments made by private colleges and universities. The legislation seeks to curb financial support for entities deemed adversarial to U.S. interests, particularly those identified on restricted government lists.
