WASHINGTON, June 2 -- The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced a new grant opportunity, the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program, dedicating an estimated $38.0 million to cultivate a more diverse science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce. This initiative aims to increase the number of STEM baccalaureate and graduate degrees awarded to individuals from groups historically underrepresented in STEM, including Blacks and African-Americ . . .
