WASHINGTON, March 31 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-NE, has introduced the Protecting Rural Seniors' Access to Care Act, aimed at prohibiting the Secretary of Health and Human Services from enforcing a contentious rule regarding minimum staffing levels in nursing facilities.
