WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 -- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has announced a funding opportunity under the Cooperative Agreement for Affiliated Partners with the Rocky Mountains Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU).

This program seeks to support research into the immunology of endangered bumble bee species, aiming to develop tools for their conservation.

The total funding available for this initiative is $399,000, with individual awards ranging from $1 to $30,000.
