WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced the opening of the 2025 Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program.

This grant aims to assist agricultural producers, groups, cooperatives, and producer-based businesses with starting or expanding value-added activities related to the processing and marketing of agricultural products. The total funding available for the program is $30 million, with competitive grants awarded for planning or working capita . . .
