WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, introduced the "Federal Jobs for STARs Act" on July 31, 2024. The text of the bill was released on Sept. 29.
S. 4889. A bill to remove educational barriers to Federal employment for workers who are skilled through alternative routes, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
The bill is cosponsored by Sens. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.
