WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., introduced the "Child Care Availability and Affordability Act" on July 31, 2024. The text of the bill was released on Sept. 29.
S. 4874. A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to expand the employer-provided child care credit and the dependent care assistance exclusion; to the Committee on Finance.
The bill is cosponsored by Sen. Katie Boyd Britt, R-Ala.
