WASHINGTON, May 26 -- Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., introduced a joint resolution on April 17, 2024. The text of the resolution was released on May 25.

A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to "The Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors"; to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
