WASHINGTON, May 26 -- Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., introduced the "FIFA World Cup 2026 Commemorative Coin Act" on April 17, 2024. The text of the bill was released on May 25.
S. 4141. A bill to require the Secretary of the Treasury to mint coins in commemoration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
The bill is cosponsored by Sens. Laphonza Butler, D-Calif.
