WASHINGTON, May 26 -- Sen. Katie Boyd Britt, R-Ala., introduced the "Clergy Act" on April 16, 2024. The text of the bill was released on May 20.

S. 4126. A bill to allow a period in which members of the clergy may revoke their exemption from Social Security coverage, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Finance.

The bill is cosponsored by Sen. Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H.
