WASHINGTON, April 15 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., introduced the "Protecting Against Foreign Adversary Investments Act" on March 14, 2024. The text of the bill was released on April 13.
S. 3948. A bill to amend the Defense Production Act of 1950 to better address certain transactions by foreign entities of concern, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
The bill is cosponsored by Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich.
