WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., introduced the "Child Labor Accountability Act" on Oct. 26, 2023. The text of the bill was released on Nov. 26.
S. 3142. A bill to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to expand the prohibition related to child labor, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.
The bill is cosponsored by Sens. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., John W. Hickenlooper, D-Colo., and Roger Marshall, R-Kan.
