WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 5058) to "require the imposition of sanctions with respect to purchases of crude oil from the Russian Federation."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 29. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
