WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., has introduced legislation (S. 4783) to "require the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness to carry out a pilot program on providing training to, validating, and deploying grief companions to facilitate bereavement care."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
