WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 4780) to "amend the definition of marine highway transportation to include the carriage by a documented vessel of cargo that is bulk, liquid, or loose cargo loaded in tanks, holds, hoppers, or on deck."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
