WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Neb., has introduced legislation (S. 4766) to "amend title 38, U.S. Code, to revise the rules for approval by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs of commercial driver education programs for purposes of veterans educational assistance."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
