Sen. Cassidy Introduces Bill on Penalties For Unauthorized Disclosure of Confidential Information

WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 4455) to "amend title 18, U.S. Code, to provide for penalties for the unauthorized disclosure of confidential information by officers or employees of the Supreme Court."

The bill was introduced on June 22 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss., and Marco Rubio, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
