WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., has introduced legislation (S. 4449) to "amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to improve the accuracy of market-based Medicare payment for clinical diagnostic laboratory services, to reduce administrative burdens in the collection of data."
The bill was introduced on June 22 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
