WASHINGTON, May 20 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 4245) to "impose a moratorium on large agribusiness, food and beverage manufacturing, and grocery retail mergers."
The bill was introduced on May 18 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
