WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 3530) to "encourage the extraction and processing of rare earth metals in the U.S."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 20 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
