WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 3529) to "amend the Investor Protection and Securities Reform Act of 2010 to provide grants to States for enhanced protection of senior investors and senior policyholders."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 20 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Tim Scott, R-S.C., Raphael G. Warnock, D-Ga., and Cynthia M. Lummis, R-Wyo. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
