WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 -- Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 3519) to "amend the National Trails System Act to designate the Butterfield Overland National Historic Trail."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 19 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Tom Cotton, R-Ark. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
