WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., has introduced legislation (S. 3309) to "require SelectUSA to coordinate with State-level economic development organizations to increase foreign direct investment in semiconductor-related manufacturing and production."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 2 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
