WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., has introduced legislation (S. 3300) to "prohibit the payment of certain legal settlements to individuals who unlawfully entered the U.S."

The bill was introduced on Dec. 2 and has 31 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Tom Cotton, R-Ark., John Cornyn, R-Texas, James Risch, R-Idaho, James M.
