WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service announced that it expects to award grants for documentation projects under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
The agency description of the grant states: "Grant funds must be used for CONSULTATION and/or DOCUMENTATION projects under NAGPRA. Consultation projects support efforts related to revising a NAGPRA inventory and making or responding to requests for repatriation of items . . .
