WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 3285) to "improve protections for meatpacking workers."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 30 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
