WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., has introduced legislation (S. 3284) to "require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish a toll-free telephone helpline for veterans and other eligible individuals to use to obtain information about the benefits and services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 30 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Neb. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
