WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., has introduced legislation (S. 3276) to "prohibit the circumvention of control measures used by Internet retailers to ensure equitable consumer access to products."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 30 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., and Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.M. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
