WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (S. 3273) to "take certain land in the State of California into trust for the benefit of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 29 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. It was referred to the Senate Indian Affairs Committee.
