WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., has introduced legislation (S. 3271) to "amend title 18, U.S. Code, to provide for transportation and subsistence for criminal justice defendants."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 29 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
