WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, has introduced legislation (S. 3269) to "provide for the recognition of certain Alaska Native communities and the settlement of certain claims under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
