WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, has introduced legislation (S. 3233) to "help increase the development, distribution, and use of clean cookstoves and fuels to improve health, protect the climate and environment, empower women, create jobs, and help consumers save time and money."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 18 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
