WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 2760) to "amend title 31, U.S. Code, "to provide for automatic continuing resolutions."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 20 and has seven co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Steve Daines, R-Mont., Mike Braun, R-Ind., Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Ben Sasse, R-Neb., and John Hoeven, R-N.D.
The legislation was referred to the Senate Appropriations Committe . . .
