WASHINGTON, July 28 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 2468) to amend the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 "to extend the moratorium on drilling off the coasts of the States of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina."
The bill was introduced on July 26 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
