WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., has introduced legislation (S. 2462) to amend the Commodity Exchange Act "to extend the jurisdiction of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to include the oversight of markets that set or report reference prices for aluminum premiums."
The bill was introduced on July 22 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
