WASHINGTON, June 15 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it intends to award $875 million cooperative agreements to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Pasteur Institute-Ho Chi Minh City, Pasteur Institute Nha Trang and the Tay Nguyen Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Vietnam for the strengthening of essential public health functions.
