WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 2033) to "extend the authority of, and provide hiring authority for, the Global Engagement Center."
The bill was introduced on June 10 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
