WASHINGTON, June 12 -- Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., has introduced legislation (S. 2018) to "require the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information to establish a State Digital Equity Capacity Grant Program."
The bill was introduced on June 10 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Angus S. King Jr., I-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
